HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Multiple vehicle collision led to the closure of all westbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway near Daniel K. Inouye International Airport on Monday night.
The accident was reported at 7:37 p.m., followed by a road closure notice being sent out at 7:51 p.m.
The flow of traffic was rerouted to the airport exit ramp, with motorists being advised to steer clear of the region whenever feasible.
The highway was completely opened again at 10:30 p.m.
Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene, however, they have not provided any updates regarding casualties or the events leading to the accident.
