Tesla CEO Elon Musk did say The idea that the Cybertruck might function briefly like a boat doesn't quite apply here. Despite how awesome the footage looks, it was still an extremely reckless act. The driver should consider themselves fortunate not to have needed a tow truck after getting stuck—or rather, sinking—in the water.

Sharing foolish content online might land you in hot water, yet it effectively demonstrates to insurance providers that Cybertruck owners may lack judgment when engaging in reckless behavior. As this elevates the likelihood of vehicles getting totaled, insurers respond by increasing premiums.
