
BANGKOK (solusikaki.com) - The Thai Finance Minister stated on Friday that Thailand intends to increase imports of American automobiles, liquefied natural gas, and electronic goods as part of efforts to narrow the trade deficit with the United States.
The finance minister of the Southeast Asian nation stated that they aim to minimize the disparity by increasing imports of American products, as reported. Previously, Thailand had mentioned its intention to bring in more U.S.-produced agricultural items.
The commerce ministry stated that Thailand experienced a trade surplus with the United States amounting to $35.4 billion for last year, whereas Washington reported a deficit with Thailand totaling $45.6 billion.
