COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A fatal accident occurred on April 1, resulting in one death, as reported by the Colorado Springs Police Department.

The police stated that they received calls about a two-vehicle collision around 8:43 p.m. near the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Rangewood Drive.

According to reports, one car was moving eastward at a high velocity when it failed to navigate a curve and crossed over the median, hitting another vehicle that was heading westward.

The authorities stated that the car moving eastward was engulfed in flames. Emergency responders reached the location and discovered the deceased driver inside the blazing automobile.

The El Paso County Coroner’s Office determined that the driver was 25-year-old Ryan Jacob Zamora.

The police indicated that they think alcohol consumption and speeding were contributory elements to the accident.

According to the police, the motorist from the opposing car was taken to a medical facility for slight injuries.
