
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - The deadline for obtaining a REAL ID is exactly one month from April 7. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, time is running out.
To board a domestic flight, access military installations, and enter specific federal facilities, you'll require either a Real ID-compliant license, a valid U.S. passport, or another form of approved federal identification.
To obtain a REAL ID, you will need to present your original birth certificate, two documents showing Oklahoma residency, and your Social Security number.
You won’t require a REAL ID for driving, voting, or seeking federal assistance.
So far, more than two million people in Oklahoma have obtained their REAL IDs.
