CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCND) – Traffic slowdowns were reported on Interstate 26 on Monday afternoon as a result of an issue involving a concrete delivery vehicle.
Based on traffic camera feeds from the South Carolina Department of Transportation, the truck had overturned onto its side, with multiple lanes closed off on I-26 East near exit 205B.
Officials are directing traffic through one lane around the incident. It is unclear when the traffic will return to normal.
Drivers can anticipate holdups and should steer clear of the region if they're able to. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently looking into the incident.
